Running vs non-running — how it changes your quote

Running (working) sets are priced as second-hand, mainly by the kVA rating, make, age, running hours and the condition of the engine and alternator. A well-maintained set with low hours and a clean service record earns the best resale rate — for example, a 25 kVA unit with a few hundred hours and tidy paperwork is worth considerably more than a similar unit that has run several thousand hours. Non-running (seized or dead) sets are priced for scrap recovery — valued by the copper in the alternator, the cast engine block and the steel frame and canopy, rather than by output. Either way you get a fair, condition-based number confirmed before anything is removed.

What drives a scrap generator quote

• Alternator — the copper winding is usually the single largest line item in a scrap set.
• Engine — the cast block, head and internal metal add substantial recoverable weight.
• Frame & canopy — the skid, fuel tank and acoustic enclosure add steel and sheet metal.
• Completeness — a full set with its alternator and engine intact is worth more than one already stripped of parts.

Heavy removal, dismantling & loading

We bring our own crew, tools and transport to disconnect, move and load the set safely, so you do not need to arrange separate handling. For larger sets bolted to a foundation, we send a dismantling crew with a crane and flatbed, and handle removal, transport and making good the mounting area afterwards. Whether it is a single portable set or a foundation-mounted industrial genset, the lifting and loading are managed by our team.

Pickup & on-the-spot payment

Pickup is arranged within our 8 AM to 8 PM hours, often the same day for ready units in Hyderabad when you book early. The set is assessed and quoted at pickup, before removal, so you decide with the number in front of you — and you are paid on collection by cash, UPI or bank transfer, with nothing deducted afterwards. For companies and bulk lots we provide a proper GST invoice.
