How scrap rates are set
Scrap rates are not arbitrary. They track the London Metal Exchange (LME) for primary metals like copper, aluminium and zinc, then adjust for local demand, transport cost and the grade of what you are selling. A copper rod that has been kept clean and dry will fetch significantly more than the same weight of copper cable with PVC insulation that needs stripping.
When we quote, we are factoring in three things: today's spot price, the grade after sorting, and how much labour the dismantling needs. That is why a phone-photo quote is always an estimate — final price is set on the weighbridge.

Transparent weighing — what to insist on
Always insist on calibrated digital scales and that the weighing happens in front of you. Any reputable buyer will do this without being asked. We bring portable digital scales to your site, run a zero test, weigh in batches if the lot is large, and total it up on a printed receipt before payment.
If a buyer wants to take material away to 'weigh at the yard' before quoting, that is a red flag. Walk away.
Payment and pickup
We pay on the spot in cash, UPI, or bank transfer — whichever you prefer. Pickup is free across Hyderabad and there are no inspection charges. For shut-down lots we send a dismantling crew so you do not have to handle a single piece yourself.
